DR. GARY L. BODE CPA MSA [Chief Financial Officer]

Dr. Gary L. Bode has a Master’s Degree in Taxation and is a Certified Public Accountant with real and virtual office experience to offer world-class service wherever you live. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer for a private mental healthcare facility, and the Chief Executive Officer of Comprehensive Practice Accounting, Inc, in Wilmington, NC; a firm specializing in providing tax solution to medical professionals. Originally, Dr. Bode was board certified managing partner of a multi-office medical group practice for a decade before earning his Master’s of Science degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina. He is a nationally known forensic medical accountant, financial author, educator and speaker. Areas of expertise include producing customized managerial accounting reports, practice appraisals and valuations, restructurings and innovative financial accounting, as well as proactive tax positioning and tax return preparation for healthcare facilities. He also contributed to the textbook: The “Business of Medical Practice” [Transformational Health 2.0 Skills for Doctors]. First, Second, and Third Editions. Springer Publishing, New York, NY.

DR. CHARLES F. FENTON III JD [Chief Legal Officer]

Dr. Charles F. Fenton III JD is a board certified surgeon from Temple University, who also received his law degree as class valedictorian from Georgia State University. His clients include physicians involved in audits or re-coupment actions, as well as disputes with insurance companies and related vendors. Dr. Fenton has authored numerous publications for physicians and the Bar and is a nationally known speaker on healthcare industry topics, serving as conference faculty or presenter for an array of healthcare companies, medical societies, and professional associations. He contributed to the textbook: “Risk Management, Liability Insurance and Asset Protection Strategies for Doctors and Advisors” [Best Practices from Leading Consultants and CERTIFIED MEDICAL PLANNERS]. In addition to his health-law practice, Dr. Fenton is Chief Legal Officer (CLO) for the Institute of Medical and Business Advisors, Inc.

DR. DAVID E. MARCINKO FACFAS MBA MEd CMP [Chief Executive Officer]

As a former Dean and appointed University Professor and Endowed Department Chair in Economics, Entrepreneurship and Free Market Capitalism, Dr. David Edward Marcinko MBA MEd was a NYSE broker and investment banker for a decade who was respected for his unique perspectives, balanced contrarian thinking and measured judgment to influence key decision makers in strategic education, health economics, finance, managerial healthcare cost accounting, investing and public policy management. Later, Dr. Marcinko was a vital and recruited BOD member of several innovative companies like Physicians Nexus, First Global Financial Advisors and the Physician Services Group Inc; as well as the first healthcare leader for Deloitte-Touche and other start-up firms in Silicon Valley, CA.

Historically, his economics influencer was Kenneth Joseph Arrow PhD (23 August 1921 – 21 February 2017), the American economist, securities analyst, mathematician, risk manager, writer and political theorist. Arrow was the joint winner of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, with John Hicks in 1972. Today he is known as the “father” of health economics. Dr. Marcinko is s Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Marcinko launched three Ambulatory Surgery Centers [ASCs] that were sold to a public company and another Wound Care Center [WCC] that was sold to a local hospital system. He was President of a 50 multi-sate Physician Practice Management Corporation [PPMC] that failed in its Initial Public Offering [IPO] via Federal Accounting Standards Board [FSB] Rule #95 and Accounting Principles Board [APB] Rule #110, but was later sold to venture capitalists. He works nationally with all healthcare and medical professionals who are considering a strategic business partnership, merger, acquisition or personal financial planning transaction in a competitive environment.

ANN MILLER RN MHA CPHQ CMP™ [Chief Administrative Officer]

Ann Miller has a well-documented history of identifying innovations in education and accelerating their adoption by the financial and medical community. She is frequently quoted in both the healthcare and business media and brings a decade of entrepreneurship, and creative leadership skills to mission. Formerly, she was a healthcare administrator, financial advisor and insurance professional who earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of St. Frances in Chicago. She was also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and National Corporate TQI Manger for both Abbey Healthcare in Costa Mesa, California and the Apria Healthcare Group (NYSE-AHG). Her specialty is HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and Medicare compliance and related forensics. Ms. Miller is responsible for leading our Health Dictionary Series to the top of the exploding B2B educational marketplace, while continuing to nurture a rapidly expanding list of healthcare subscribers and purchasers. She champions the visually impaired.

DR. WILLIAM P. SCHERER MS [Chief Technology Officer]

Dr. William P. Scherer is a board certified surgeon who maintained a private practice for more than a decade as an Adjunct Professor at Barry University. He is an innovator with medical and educational computer technology used by thousands of physicians to prepare for their board certification examinations, and has created dozens of computerized educational software learning programs used by public schools in Florida and California. He is active in social media, real estate investing and been an invited speaker at dozens of educational health information technology conferences across the country. He is a cyber security subject matter expert.

DR. EUGENE SCHMUCKLER MBA MEd CTS [Chief Psychology Officer]

Dr. Eugene Schmuckler was Coordinator of Behavioral Science at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and a licensed psychologist. He is on the board of directors of the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists and is a Certified Trauma Specialist. Dr. Schmuckler is an international speaker and author, with publications translated into Dutch and Russian. He is Director of Mentoring, Coaching and Behavioral Finance, and Dean of Admissions and Students for our Virtual Campus online Micro-Certification credentialing professional designation program.
